Snap It VS. CoPilot

#1

Post by CKE »

There is a local store that has both of these Spydies in SE. He is asking like $90 Cdn for them each. I am not really interested in buying them unless he gave me a good deal. They have been sitting in his store for years. Literally.

Which one would you get and why? They are both discontinued models. I have a Remote Release so the Snap It would make a goood companion piece to it, other than that I really can't decide if I should get them/one or not. Opinions? Take Care.

Hi CKE,

Well, I'm always in the minority, so here goes again... I would take a CoPilot over a Snap-It any day. Caveats are: I prefer PE in the CoPilot, and I think the price in $Cdn is a little high. If they've been sitting that long, what about offering $140 for both? How about layaway, with regular payments?

Just my opinion.

Both prices are high. I have 4 Copilots and hightest price was like $49. Unless this one is GIN-1 and NIB and you're looking for a collection piece.

Try eBay. Several Copilots there now. Snap-its turn up quite often. I picked up a SE EMT and a PE clip point for about $35-40 each.

Oh man! Now, that's a real tough decision! Personally, the Snap-it would have plenty of utilitarian usage! Co-pilot? Oh well, this one's a good piece for travel and simple cutting chores! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
