WOT: What would you look like w/ a beard?

Waaayyy off topic... What would you look like with a beard?

Boredom led me to this(with a touch of lazyness). "What would I look like with a beard?"... been clean shaven since I started, due to cadets. Most I got was a week of growth(and very poor at that), and that was shaved every wendesday for cadets.

Last summer would have been a good chance, but I had to work as staff... last winter would have been fun to try, but the boss didn't like facial hair.

This job has no dress/appearance rules... just show up on time and work. Perfect chance.

Last 3 weeks I've been letting it grow. Couple thin patches at the top/front, but otherwise decent. Haven't been ID'ed in about 2 weeks either(clean shaven I look about 16 or 17, thus the name at my last job "babyface&quot.

Even lengthens(/thins out) my face a little bit. Going to let it grow for a bit longer still, maybe another month. Just getting to the point now that I have 1/2" hanging down.

Same story, only in reverse. All through university I had a nice beard going. Made me look older, and more "distinguished". But once I've graduated I shaved and didn't recognize myself, four years of books and caffeine changed me way too much...
But now I alternate, going hairy in winter and clean-shaven in summer heat. So far, worked out great.

Although personally I like myself better with the beard, even if I don't look all too civilized with it... :D

I had a beard only once, when I was "deported" for a few month in a God forsaken place near the border, with another teammates in order to plant trees.
I have a picture from those days (also posted on my website). They say I used to look like George Michael (when he also had a beard), at least in the photo

I let mine grow out when I take vacation. So I have a full beard now. The only problem is all the gray hairs. there are a few more than the last time.
I don't know if I look any better, I doubt it, but it is nice not having to shave every day.

I don't have a beard (If I did, it would grow in grey or white, which would make me look even older than I am), but I do have one of those thick "Texas mustaches", and I'm pretty darn handsome with it. .

Some have the genes for forest-like beard growth, some don't. I certainly do. After the local grocer ran out of my favorite blades, I went around a week w/o touching what became a very mountain-mannish beard growth. Took dang near 20 minutes to break down with a razor, compared to usual start-to-finish shave times of 2 minutes or less.

By the time you read this, you'll have already read it.

beard? *heh-heh!* I'm of Chinese descent and most Chinese dudes here are very clean in terms of facial hair.. It'll be like finding 2 out of 10 Chinese guys who have beards or a thick crop of moustache.. Guess my 'stache and goatee gave me my 'Mongolian' appearance.. I find that truly amusing!

A funny thing about my beard is that it's now almost completely white. On the rest of the body (head included) I have very few gray/white hair.

I have the face of a 12 year old boy, after two weeks it looks like a caterpillar has crawled across my top lip.
My fiancee says I am finally becoming a man...? Is that good or bad?

Craig> if I make an attempt at just upper lip, it's near to nothing... thats why I tried goatee once, then shaved and am making a try on a beard.

if anything I'll just go for the 1-1.5" band around the edge that I keep seeing around here. Thin band of beard, then grow the chin long.

If I had a beard, people'd probably start putting loose change in my coffee mug.

I've had mine since I was 19. Never shaved it off in (gawd) 27 years.
