I enjoyed watching this and simply thought you would like it too. The Yojimbo 2 has, is, and always be my favourite Spyderco knife so I thought I would share the video.

I dont know which one came out first but that knife at the end is way too similar to an introvert.

I think the Introvert came first (the prototype was first publicly revealed in early 2014) while the earliest online references to the Colonel Blades folder (which is a folding version of the company's flagship fixed-blade model) seem to point to it being released in 2018 (also, it seems like Colonel Blades suspended operations some time late last year).

The Colonel Blades fixed-blade also reminds me of the Sal Glesser-designed Spyderco Swick and to an even greater degree, the John Brenner-designed TDI Law Enforcement Knife (produced by Ka-Bar), particularly in its marketing to the law enforcement community as a knife that draws and points like a handgun.

Anyway, while the similarities to previous designs are very striking to me as well, it's quite possible that it's just a coincidence despite the release timeline—a by-product of the respective designers drawing from similar influences. However, I do think it's very important to note that Chris Knutson (the Introvert's designer) is very transparent about the influences that went into the Introvert (such as Sal Glesser's S.P.O.T., Swick and Caly; the work of Ed Schempp and Fred Perrin, etc.), and that Spyderco still pays royalties to Perrin for their use of the "Perrin hole".
