This is as great as the Military gets.On my 440v I had to touch it up on the 204 once a week.It is going on 2 weeks now on the S30V and it is as sharp as it was when it came out of the box.
The 440V would get light rust spots when the heat, sweat and humidity got to it.Did not bother me to much, just cleaned it off.The Heat and moisture has been bad the last few days and there is not a sign of anything on the blade.
I learn something new everyday, even though I don't want to. Jeff

I recieved mine at the IWA show in Germany last March. It has been clipped to my waistband eversince, retiring the old Titanium C07S i was carrying. The blade is still looking as new, no pits, no scratches, no nicks and still very, very sharp. Very impressive steel. When you consider that my Chris Reeve classic Sebanza (same steel, no serrations)costs about 3 times as much.... I think this knife is momentarily the highest quality, high tech, BEST DEAL for your money! Period! (JMHO)

I agree.I had the chance to handle alot of customs at Blade and IMO none were any better than the Military and most of them were 3 to 6 times the price.Even the Sebenza witch I really liked does not seem much better and it cost 350.00.
I like the S30V milli so much I just put up a 3 for one trade deal for a PE Mili on bladeforums.

Ditto on the S30v milli, I think that I have finally found the perfect folding knife. It is a near perfect knife. Being left handed, perfect would be a tip up left sided clip. I custom made a nice leather molded sheath (with 144 stitches ) and this words very well. Again this is about all the knife one could want , way to go Sal

Thanks for the review. Looks like a fine knife indeed. Almost makes me want one... but I'll wait for the Paramillie <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Dialex - the Para Military is definitely worth waiting for as it will be different from the original in several ways. First it will feature a downsized blade in the same steel (CPMS30V). The handle will not be dramaticly smaller though. Second it will incorporate the compression lock we already know from some other models. The latest model I've seen had green G-10 handles, but Sal told me the production models will have black G-10 handles. As far as I know release is still sceduled for this year! (am I right Travis?)
