Saw a video today from a guy that modified the Para 3 for left-handed people. It would work just like a liner lock for them.

I am nor a Lefty, neither a Para 3 guy, but this is a very cool mod and good work at least from a technical point of view!

Also, I actually do prefer a good linerlock in operation over a comp.lock.
So theoretically this could be an option for RIGHTIES in let's say a left handed PM2 for example...

I am not sure if I am seeing this right, but it looks like that ,,second,, liner is above the scales, so if looks like a nice thin piece of metal that want to make a hotspot every time you squeeze the handle a bit harder.

People should be able to contour the metal. It seems to be more of a proof of concept than a perfect final version. But you're right, without grinding away some plastic for a cut-out, at least a little metal would have to stick out.

If somehow you can attach a piece of metal to the lock release from the spine to the opposite side, pressure in the same direction to release the compression lock would be the same pressure as a left hand liner lock.

Seems like a good idea. Maybe a production version/change.

I don’t know who it is anymore, but a member here drilled through the side of a compression lock knife and added a button (extra pivot barrel added to the compression lock bar). It would be a great alternative for a lefty.

Anyone else remember this? Anyone remember who it was? Thanks!
