Hello all,

I finally joined the forum today after being a long time lurker. A little about myself...I'm a husband and father from Iowa. I joined the USMC out of high school, spent a few years there, got out, went to college for criminal justice, worked a few odd jobs, and have now been working in the criminal justice field for around 10 years.

I've been into Spyderco knives now for a few years, and own about a dozen Spyderco's so far. As far as a favorite...It's pretty hard to pick, but I think I have it narrowed down to the Shaman or Manix 2. Just robust, hard use, beasts.

I had actually planned on visiting Golden, Co in June, but with the current state of the world, who knows?

There seems to be a ton of great knowledge and information here. I look forward to contributing what I can. Thanks for having me.
