Fastest selling Sprint knife?

#1

Post by Cowboyfromhell »

So I'm super curious to know which Sprint knives were so sought after and sold out the quickest. Past sprints and even the current rex 45 sprints. Sure they all sell out but some are ghosts..poof..like they were never there

The crucarta Shaman.

Definitely fastest that I can remember. Most people never saw it in stock at all.

The st Nick's 4v models were up there (exclusive)

The Para 3/PM2 REX 45 models flew off the shelves pretty quickly too

The crucarta shaman is a conspiracy. All the pictures are deep fakes. People on line who say they have it are lying. Think about it have you ever seen or held one. :D

The Dark Green S110V Native forum knife was sold out in about 2 hours. Though, I think the forum knives are considered an exclusive or something separate.

A lot of those mentioned are exclusives, not sprints...
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Was just going to point that out :)
Also would be interesting to know which (Spyderco) sprint runs lingered the longest. The Baby Horn, Darn Dao and the all stainless Kopa spring to mind.

Pingo Elmax is still around. A shame this is, it's a great knife.

The Darn Dao is a Flash Batch, not a Sprint, right?

I remember when the Para 3 in Cruwear came out. It was all I could do to get 1 of those when initially offered!

I haven’t ever had trouble getting sprints, even the Crucarta Shaman(at MAP price) was no problem. I get lucky, and I am persistent. I haven’t been collecting long, but long enough to know they are easy enough when you do your part(research). I certainly don’t mean to brag, I just want to let others know that it is possible to find sprints when you want them badly enough.
The biggest problems for me come from store exclusives. That #*$@!|\| St. Nick’s Shaman almost ruined my day when it dropped. I did everything I could to be sure I was ready for it, and despite my speedy checkout, they were gone before I had a chance at one.

Micarta Shaman. Like, I don't even saw one in european shops....Warstein said that he saw one in coutallerie-tourangelle, but that could be the only one that made its way to Europe :D

Crucarta Shaman, hands down. That was the craziest feeding frenzy, I've ever seen.

I was very sad. I loved the micarta, but the Shaman was an absolute pass, for me. :(

The vtoku Stretch 2 is still around some places. I've also seen vtoku ladybugs still in stock a few places.

That's the craziest release I was a part of. Believe it was the first Spydie folder in 110v and the k390 mule also dropped at the same time. Pandemonium!

For a sprint, Rex 45 PM2 was a chase, if I remember. Kept trickling in to dealers, and disappearing just as fast.
