How fragile are Manix tips? Obviously don't pry with them, but are they more durable than PM2/Military tips?
I actually converted to the Manix from the PM2 at work for tip strength, perceived or real I’m not certain, but it feels a bit more stout. Plus the grip feels locked into my hand, not that the PM2 was lacking per se, but the Manix feels immovable.

Yeah, I agree the Manix 2 is the best deal. I paid $135 for a G10 version with M390 and a month or so later bought a Para 3 LW in the same steel for $5 less...after what I paid for the Manix, felt like I got robbed paying that much for so much less knife. Whenever I’m working around the house...I grab the Manix over anything else.

Definitely a good buy and a tank of a knife. Played with one for a couple of days, then blindly sold it. Disclaimer... Did not sell for profit, I actually lost a few dollars. Then realized my error and they were gone. PM 2 will always have a place in my heart. Because first love and all. :p
