PARA3 with aftermarket clip question

#1

Post by CrayzCanuck »

I have a question regarding the PARA3 knife with an aftermarket belt clip.
I was wondering if anyone else had bought a regular para three and used either an XMG or Lynch aftermarket deep carry clip? Does anyone know if the para three rides significantly lower with an aftermarket clip? I love the knife I just don’t want it sticking out of my pocket necessarily.
Thanks very much.

Here you go! MXG deep carry on a Para 3, as well as the standard pocket clip.

I have two different para 3’s with mxg clips, and have a third para 3 on the way... and already ordered the same clip for it. They’re outstanding, and the knife rides substantially lower. I can’t bear to carry it with the original clip, but with the mxg clip it’s my favorite knife. I hope this helps.

I have the Lynch deep carry for the Para 3 and it carries about the same as the MXG pictured above.

I use the standard clip and carry tip down.

Yes, it goes quite a bit deeper and has a cut out for the lanyard hole.

I saw the newer, deeper clip in another thread. When I tried to find it on eBay, where I got the shallower clip, I couldn’t find it. I had to get it from MXG’s website. Well worth the upgrade.
