FRN Caribbean: Scale Color Poll

#1

Post by Sumdumguy »

Me personally, I'd go with GITD or White.

What do you guys think?

I would rather see Peel-ply CF before FRN, but I’m probably the only one!

If this happens it will be like the rest of the Salt line, black and yellow.

Not even close! I've been trying to get a set of contoured CF scales, with the same milled pattern as stock, forever. No one who has the capability, wants to and no one who wants to, has the capability...

I'd give my left arm for that configuration, in Vanax SC or LC200N. Either one, I'd die happy.

But, the FRN sounds like its heading towards being a real thing. I'll take what I can get and fully support any rendition of this design. I also would like to see the FRN get the wire clip(Ti?). I like both styles, but I get better IWB retention with wire clips(beach shorts).

Again, I'll take what I can get. :P

i wouldn’t want an frn version, personally. we already have the native salt and all the other salts in frn. the main draw of the caribbean for me is a lined g10 salt. i would like to see gitd replace the yellow though. or maybe even the black... that could actually look pretty cool and still keep the hi-viz yellow.

I imagine that it would still have some sort of partial liners.

Hopefully.

I really hope that they keep the liners with FRN version and also the stock spoon clip, wire clip would be a no-go for me.

On the other hand, I dont think its going to happen anytime soon, more like 2021...

I went with good old black. I feel pretty good about dye options so also any solid light color is ok too.

I will have a Caribbean one day, whether it is the current version or something else.

If every one of my knives was gray or green, I wouldn't be too upset. Voted gray.
