I saw a post on instagram saying Cutlery Shoppe will be randomly releasing another two tone Rex45 Para 3 with orange and Smurf blue scales "soon". The post was not from the official Cutlery Shoppe account but it seems like Cutlery Shoppe is working with the user to promote their knife.

So take this with a grain of salt  but it might be worth keeping an eye out for a Orange/Smurf Blue Rex45 Para 3 from Cutlery Shoppe...

I'd love an OD Green Rex45 Para 3 for this price. Also a PM2. The orange kills it for me.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

There are so many great aftermarket scales to choose from. A Rex-45 para3 at a good price is awesome, the perfect platform for customization. Glad I scored one of these. Heck I might even grab one of the orange and blue ones when they drop so I can mod that one too :D

Yea, but that turns it into a $200 knife. Not tryna yuck your yum, just on my never-ending tirade in support of earth tones. :D

The Rex 45 Paras have been going for a lot more than $200 on the secondary market though.

There are people willing to buy the stock scales. Selling the scales would put a custom configured Rex 45 Para 3, somewhere around $160-180, depending on how hungry the aftermarket crowd is, and how much the custom scales cost.

That's how I've justified a few of my knives that have ended up being $200+ after scale swaps...sell the stock scales for $25-40 takes a bit of the sting away!

I’m sure there’s a good reason for not having one, but I do wish there was a trade forum here. Would be nice to be swap scales with members (I know about the exchange on BF; I don’t particularly like the environment over there).

Yea, but Monday mornings might still have some of the weekend gals lingering.

Tuesdays, you get to meet Helga and Agnes. LOL

LOL I might use a different word other than favorite. :D Orange and blue are complimentary colors though, so it has that going for it at least. :) If their first two tone was Orange and Kelly Green I would have been all over it! Would've been a perfect St. Patricks Day knife.

I'm into customization with my spydies lately. I was going to do it regardless of the stock scales. But yes, going full Ti everything, clip, scales, screws about doubled the cost.

And I've been itchin to try out my lanyard tube removal tool from Sharp Dressed Knives :D bought it months ago and haven't had a chance to use it yet.
