I like the HH G20 version because of the full length back spring over the FRN shorter one. I like the leaf, drop point and sheepfoot blade style, and I would like to see...

K390 w/ Burgundy Linen Micarta
52100 w/ Peel-Ply Carbon Fiber
Cruwear w/ any color Micarta
Rex 45 w/ any color G10 except Burnt Orange
LC200N w/ Yellow/Lime Green G10, even FRN will do
S90V w/ Smooth Carbon Fiber

I would immediately buy any CQI G10 UKPK. While we're at it, how about some upgraded urbans as well? :D

I'd be happy with it as FRN (and yellow, actually--I'm not picky on colors).

For an "fancy" UKPK, I'd love to see something cool like wood (or pakkawood) or titanium. If I was dreaming it would be something like Ziricote with bolsters and M390, but I'm not sure if that would actually land at a price point that would let it succeed in the market.

THIS! :D

Oh, and I would also take one in LC200N with yellow G10.

I would like to state that I think it is funny how much Spyderco (especially Sal) has been ahead of the curve in the knife buyer market. The trend towards modern traditional folders in the last the few years reminded me of the discontinued UKPK's in Ti and CF. I'm glad to see a renewed interest and am eager to see more versions of the UKPK.

I honestly find the HH exclusive to be perfect. I'm not often blown away by a new design (to me) but that knife made me wonder why I never jumped on one sooner. So simple, light weight, great color, perfectly constructed with THE BEST ergos of ANY knife I've ever held. I was singing it's praises then, and still singing them today.

Anybody that has a chance at an upcoming HH exclusive that passed it up before, or debated on it...do yourself a favor and get one this time around.

Yeah, a different scale color or steel would be cool...but honestly, on a slipjoint with that thin of a blade stock, do we really better than S30V? Yes, I would be all over it. But, realistically it's not necessary.

For me personally, orange G10, Wharncliffe shape all the way:
Image

That's obviously the Urban, which would be the perfect complement to the Heinnie S30V UKPK, but I would buy a UKPK equivalent just as quickly! As for steels, anything in the vicinity of BD1N and S30V would be more than enough.

Now, if we're talking dream territory here... I would REALLY love a Hawkbill slippie in H1 steel. Being in Germany, there is currently no legal way of carrying a Spyderco Hawkbill model since they all lock, but after falling in love with that blade shape using my Byrd at work, I would welcome a legal EDC version of that. Since it's a "scarier" type of blade, maybe it would be more appropriate for the Urban instead of the UKPK platform though, which would double as an incredible secondary knife. Dragonfly Hawkbill FRN slippie from Seki City? Just go with the most cost-effective option for your company, I would get it and cherish it regardless.

Hey, a guy can dream, right? ;)

As for me, I'd like to see dark chestnut, ivory white G10 or even dark olive G10. Earth tones are the best in my view.
Yes please! In a tool steel. Or M390.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I just want a dependable pocket knife. A leaf shaped blade like the HH is what I prefer, but a wharncliffe blade shaped like that found on the Kershaw Leek (with hole, obviously) would do nicely, as well. The blade is long enough for that.

As for steel, I adore K390, but I also want the practicality of a stainless steel. LC200N, M390, even S30V or S90V would be great. I am not a real fan of S110V.

I’d love to see a 52100 or K390 version as well.

The drop point version doesn’t seem to be as popular as the leaf blade, but I’d really like a drop point in a carbon steel or tool steel.

The drop point UKPK reminds me of a smaller, minimalist Stretch, which is a high compliment in my books.

Not fussed about colours.

LC200N sounds pretty cool as well.

Radioactive, those are some beautiful UKPKs you have - thanks for showing them.

I'd love to see some new versions of the Wharncliffe Urban. Maybe offer it in AEB-L?

I'd take an orange g-10 wharnie in BD1N, for sure.

I'd also buy a Spy27 variant, because I want to spend some time with that new steel. :)

But, as always, Maxamet!

And lets not forget the possibilities of SE variants as well.

This is my drop point Gin 1 UKPK, but a SE 52100 drop point with G10 scales would be a mighty fine Spyderco take on the modernised slipjoint:

With so many choices these days it's hard to narrow down to a few. So I would be fine with S30v. G10 in any color but black, preferably an Earth tone. I would buy multiples.

Wharnie In k390 wins my vote.
Also a slim reverse-s in ffg, think Cricket edge on a UKPK drop point or leaf shaped blade, would interest me with se and pe as options.

I think we all can agree that we’d like to see an upgraded UKPK. It is USA made and the quality is there.

As I mentioned, I had some UKPK scales incoming. These are stock Ti scales modded with a darkened wood grain texture by MJL Bladeworx. Since I first noticed he was doing this mod to Keybars and such, I knew I had to send him the UKPK scales. I hope you all like them!
