I’ll be there. At this point it is difficult to discuss the Corona Virus without discussing politics so I will just say that my concerns are low.

Looking forward to it. Woo hoo!!!
People are political this virus is an equal opportunity none partisan killer. It does not discriminate between race, gender or nationality. Although politicians use any and every angle to bolster their side a virus has only one side it's own.

I read this morning the death in California was tracked back to a cruise ship. Not really a big surprise lots of people from lots of different areas all crammed together in close proximity. What could possibly go wrong?

Let see what are the common denominators.

1. Large groups of people in close proximity to one another.
2. Large groups of people from different regions and countries in close proximity to one another.
3. Large groups of people sharing transportation where they are forced to be in close proximity to one another for prolonged periods of time.
4. A deadly virus that is spreading.

Question why is it spreading why did it not remain in China.

Reference 1 through 4 above.

Okay, this is getting a bit off track. I didn't start a Coronavirus thread, go make one of those in off-topic.

I'll be looking forward to meeting some of you folks.

Does, sorry you didn’t understand my comment.

Sum, you are correct. Sorry for the derailment. There was a thread in off topic already but it got very political and was filled with fear mongering. Probably best if we just leave the topic alone. I hope to meet you at the show!

I've never attended the show but it's on my list.

Looking like I might be able to swing it this year.

I'd love to be able to attend, but we've got too many vet bills starting to pile up and a trip to St Thomas later in the year for a friends wedding. The wife says maybe next year though!

Forum members should walk around with those "my name is" stickers and put your forum name on there. Would be a great way to meet one another!

Sal initially intended to make those stainless spyder pendants as a gift for forum members attending the Blade Show. After huge amounts of interest though it was opened up to all forum members.

If I were attending, I would definitely wear mine! :spyder:

Reference 1 through 4 above.

There are currently 3 confirmed cases in Georgia now, 2 in Atlanta and one in Floyd County..

Something to keep an eye on and on the Blade Show page just in case they do cancel it or have to cancel it.

Still almost 3 months before Blade Show so it's something to keep track of.

For those who already have tickets and reservations..

As far as threads go we have 2 of them currently running on Blade Forums with current information and stats etc...

So no need to start another one here.

I just bought my ticket this morning. I will be there all three days. Meeting fellow forumites is always my favorite part of the show so any of you who are there, please don’t hesitate to introduce yourself if you see me walking around. I try to make myself walk around and see everything but I always end up getting sucked back to the Spyderco booth as if by magnetic force.
It was great meeting you there in 2017!!!

Got me an early bird ticket this year. It’s always a great time. The crowd last year was huge. Get in line early!

I've got two of them floating around somewhere, I just can't find them >:(

Let's hope they come up with some other nifty idea again this year. I hate losing stuff.

That will work for some, but I try to maintain a very nondescript appearance. No logos, no stickers on vehicles, etc. No one looks twice at me, lol.
Heck, I only have keys on my keychain!

Some call it boring, I call it strategic. *firewall intensifies* :p
