FFG Wharnie Salt? That sounds like LC200N.

That combination would get my money on just about any model.

I have both, bought the Manbug before finding this forum, and I never use it. In contrast the Ladybug is one of my most used knives.

The Ladybug aside from the very useful hawkbill, has thinner blade stock and slices better too.

If that knife came out, I’d make a video of the PE, and the SE. I can just feel the slicing power right to the tip. I can dream and hope.

I did a blade swap with a USN black blade LBHB and a regular black handle Ladybug.

I would absolutely LOVE to see an all black LBHB in the regular production lineup! :spyder:

I think Spyderco doesn't offer enough all black knives :D

Hey toni, I definitely know what you mean. It is a good looking little knife and I’m certainly for more options. Maybe my post came across as though I’m not but that wasn’t my intention. :o

Have you seen the green FRN and black blade Ladybugs? They were very nice too and came in both SE and PE Hawkbills. I don’t like coated blades generally but actually looked to buy one a while back to no avail unfortunately. :)

I already have the yellow one and LOVE it but it needs this blackout version to keep it company

For those who are still trying to decide whether or not to try one, here's another pic to push you in the right direction :)

4 months ago when I was carrying only hawkbills I pressed mine into service doing impromptu heater hose repair on a friends truck. This little knife cut through hose, plastic and did some prying. The blade is now pretty off center, I haven’t tried to fix it. But it survived and doesn’t seem any worse off.... I need to carry it more. It’s been a while. She’s tougher than you’d think.
