I’m a big fan of this little knife as well!

I did a blade swap with a USN black blade LBHB and a regular black handle Ladybug.

I would absolutely LOVE to see an all black LBHB in the regular production lineup! :spyder:

Nice! ... and I agree.

It's an amazing knife for the size but I think I prefer my Dragonhawk.
I’m currently trying to decide between the two....

I've got larger hands so I carry the dragonhawk, but I'm fully converted to carrying at least some kind of serrated hawkbill at all times!

Dfly is a significantly more usable knife for a not much larger package. I think the Ladyhawk was actually the 3rd Spyderco I ever bought. I got it with the intention of using it as a box cutter but found that it really didn't slice very well, and I started to feel like I was going to rip the pivot out of the handle when making hard/fast cuts. I had it clipped to my sling bag and it disappeared after towing a very attractive gal with a broke down '86 Honda Nighthawk  I figured if she liked it enough to get sticky fingers maybe she should have it. My Dragonfly stays in that same bag (I guess I learned my lesson about clipping them to the outside) but it's mostly for backup use.

I blame Bloke and MacLaren for the recent Province purchase, but the other 50 or so Spydies purchased since the late summer of 2018 falls on the Forum as a whole.

It has nothing to do with my impulsiveness, fomo or any other psychological problems I may or may not have. :)

Shout out to Sal and Eric for making such quality knives! Love that product man :D

I blame him too. I love my Dragonhawk and when he lost his Ladyhawk I replaced the one that I had lost in his honor. They are both super useful.

I have a hammer toe, and have recently not won a penny with my lottery ticket. Can I blame Bloke, too? ;)

It's amazing the influence that Brother BLOKE seems to have on most of us here. But I also like many of his recommendations. He's most definitely the premier representative we have from "Down Under" ( Australia).

I just hope that BLOKE gives us some input on fixed blade Spyders soon.

Yeah. I really do want the Dfly Hawk, even more now. I have the Ladyhawk and Tasman Salt though. Hmm...

Might be a little redundant but I'd love a hawkbill Native 5. It's just enough bigger than a Dfly but gives a bit more secure grip which for me is really important in a hawkbill where hard pull cuts happen often. I'm not sure it's even possible to make a hawkbill without a thumb ramp.

Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha! :o

I’m quite humbled by the responses here and a little lost for words. The only words that do come to mind are those of a famous Australian, Jeff Fenech: I love yahs all! :)

The fact remains though! The Serrated Hawksbill Salt Series knives won’t be beaten in design or sheer cutting power, I reckon, and definitely a must have for all and any knife Knuts.

On top of that they require no maintenance whatsoever ... maybe a rinse under a running tap. :)

The fact that you tell us what you use it for, how well it cuts, and show pictures, makes us want one. Great endorsement, if you ask me. Plus, could it be any cuter?
- best wishes, Jazz.
