It’s all Bloke’s fault

Post by Doc Dan »

I wasn’t going to buy a knife until a few that are coming are released. I was saving my $$. Well, Blokekept going on about his Ladybug Salt Hawkbill and I thought it might be a good replacement for a Superblue Manbug. If Bloke hadn’t forced me I’d be richer. Hahahaha!

It's an amazing knife for the size but I think I prefer my Dragonhawk.

I just got Bloked into one of these, too. :p But the hype is real - it is an incredibly handy little keychain knife. If there were other colors in the SE hawkbill, I'd buy another one. In fact I've thought about getting a second to RIT dye.

I keep one of these (SE) in my checked travel bag, so it gets used whenever I travel. It's nice and small (good for places I don't know their knife laws - though my other travel knife is a Dragonfly, so plenty small as well) and cheap enough that if TSA decides to steal it out of my luggage, it's not a big loss.

For EDC carry at home, I have a PE version of the USN run that rotates along with a SB Manbug and HAP40 Ladybug.

Hey Doc, I’m glad you bought one and you’ll be more than happy with the little knife. Plus the more you use it the more you’ll appreciate just how versatile it really is.

I have a Dragonfly SE HB also. Another excellent knife for sure but pound for pound I haven’t found anything to rival the little Ladybug. :)

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these for awhile now, and yes, it was because of Bloke’s posts about his Ladybug hawkbill sometime back! :)

I never thought I'd ever want to go below Chaparral-size, but right now I also have a feeling I should get that little Ladybug and blame Bloke for doing so... :D

We all have an excuse to get one. It’s Bloke’s fault. What can our wives or husbands say to that?

It's a fantastic little knife, you guys will love it. Well done, Bloke.
What I need though, is an excuse to buy a Dragonfly Hawkbill, since I already have one of these, and a regular Dragonfly.

I’m a big fan of this little knife as well!

I did a blade swap with a USN black blade LBHB and a regular black handle Ladybug.

I would absolutely LOVE to see an all black LBHB in the regular production lineup! :spyder:

Too funny, I haven't pulled the trigger but often think about it. My wife has a regular Ladybug on her keychain and I think it's fun to mess around with sometimes, though she takes offense and tells me I have plenty of my own and to leave hers alone :p
