Where could I buy the black screws for the Para 3 lightweight?

I wanted to give my para 3 LW a more blacked out aesthetic by swapping the chrome screws for black ones.

I've sent an email to Spyderco and they could only give my the clip screws. This was what they told me.

"We apologize, but we can only provide the clip screws. For any other screw you would need to send the knife in to our warranty and repair department."

Welcome to the forum.

I think you're posting this in the wrong forum. This should probably be in the main (Spyderco) forum, rather than the Byrd forum.

I've gotten replacement screws in various colors on eBay before, Seller "BladesWeLove" usually has a lot of those kind of cosmetic replacement parts, and I've had good luck buying from him.

Another vote for ebay. There are multiple sellers that have replacement screws, lanyard tubes, etc for spydercos in all different colors.

Has anybody ever tried spray painting and adding a clear coat to screws? Interested in how it would hold up, obviously depending on how often you carry the knife and how many times its in and out of your pocket every day.

I also wonder how Plasti-Dip would work. I use that stuff on emblems on vehicles I have that I would like to black out. Some people even use it on their wheels/rims. It holds up very well, even here through brutal NY winters with all the salt and sand. Just a thought, I see these type of threads pop up like once a month. Could be an easy fix!
