I saw an IG comment from @newgrahamknives that they are expecting to receive and drop their shipment midweek next week. DLT haven't dropped and my guess is that they will receive quite a few. There are some still out there so keep watching and don't give up if you still want one.

And its gone. Hey this one actually stuck around for at least an hour. I had the chance too and I passed. This year is going to be heavy on my wallet so I think im going to hold out for the chief and pray I get one. Or either of the native 5s. Or the shaman. On second thought... dang maybe I should have gotten the manix.

Well I managed to score one.
The one that I am really looking forward to is the lightweight Manix in rex45.
I like g10 but my lightweight versions get carried more often.

Without hijacking the thread too far... can you explain why you prefer the LW Manix2 over the G10? I am really interested in understanding, I got a LW Manix2 a year ago or so and promptly sold it, it just felt... wrong, I didn't like the balance or feel of it... I love the Sage5 LW, I like the Para3 LW, but the Manix2 LW, I just don't get it... help me out if you would...

I prefer the LW model for the one obvious reason lighter weight, I am a carpenter and scaffold builder so I usually always have a harness and tool belt on and weight does matter for me.
Another reason is the wire clip, I have used a lot of knives in my 50+ years and it is by far my favorite clip.

Also the feel of FRN and the texturing of the scales are very comfortable for me.
They are good with gloves or barehanded.

I like the Native, Endura, and Delica too but wish they had wire clips on them.

I am really wanting one of these. Signed up for notifications at a few sites and never got a single one. I’m new to these sprint runs.

I got mine today,,,,,,, beautiful knife. Fit and finish is A+. Smooth action, drop shut, razor sharp. G10 color is like others said, a Fall season color, kind of like a Pumpkin pie, sweet potato, clay tile mix if that makes sense. Looks really nice.

I have the Manix 2 with dark earth scales, M390, and DLC blade and its perfect also.

Manix 2 is my favorite Spyderco in my collection.

Questions? Should the ball bearing be rolling on the knife tang or just dragging as the knife is opened and closed? I am trying to break this thing in like I’ve seen many people say on YouTube, but it isn’t getting any better and has a grinding feel and slight audible grind noise when opening and closing with two hands. I am unable to flick it open either with my thumb or my middle finger. I have literally torn my nail away from my skin on both hands trying to consistently get it to work. To make it worse closing the knife is becoming increasingly harder. I’m wondering if a flat spot is being worn on the ball bearing and therefore getting stuck when I try to close it?? Any advice is appreciated. I’m worried that if I send it in for warranty I won’t get a sprint model back if they have to replace the knife.

They’re still available, I just picked up another one since I’ll probably be sending one in on a warranty claim.

I’m about ready to pull the trigger on a 2nd hand one I found for $155.

Edit. And it was gone.
