More Jazzlicas!

#1

Post by JustinB »

I've been carrying my Jazzlica a lot recently and have been really wishing for some more variations on this model. Is there any chance in seeing a production ZDP or K390 version anytime soon?

Those are the two I’m hoping for too. Especially K390. I hope it’s in the set, and isn’t last to release.

I am hoping for a Cruwear version to match my Cruwear Delica. That is pretty much the only knife I carry these days. I'd try a K390 Jazzlica if it makes it into the new series, which I am hoping it does!

K390 for the win!

Jazzlica is the only Delica version I still have in my rotation.

Fingers crossed for a K390 Wharncliffe Delica.
I’d likely buy 3 of them right off the bat.

Hi JMM,

The current model of the Warncliffe Delica was requested, promoted and was the driving force behind our making of a Warncliffe Delica was created by Jazz. He presented rational argument for the effectiveness of such a model in his work. We made a prototype for him to test. He approved of the prototype so we made it part of the regular line.

We are currently planning a run of the Endura family in K390. I'm pretty sure the Warnie Delica is part of the run. I'll push for it.

I sharpened mine the other day, stupid sharp now. Was going to carry it at work but as a secondary knife it sticks out too far so I've been carrying the UKPK instead. I wish it had a wire clip but id still probably bite on a nice steel option.

That is so awesome to hear, I am in for pretty much anything and everything made with K390, ever since I bought my P4 g10, K390 has been a favourite steel for me!
A wharnie PE & SE delica in K390 will have a permanent home in my left pocket... So happy! :)

YESSS! I was already excited for the leaf blade K390 Endura and Delica, but having a K390 wharnie too? I'll take at least three :spyder: :spyder: :spyder:

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that serrations on K390 aren't really feasible. It is just too hard and not tough enough to handle serrated edges

Also for an SE version?

(Though I don't know if K390 would be a good steel for SE blades. Both for the maker and the user...)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
