Busy putting together an exercise bike and missed it. Thanks to REC for making it an ongoing drop, I hope to catch one of these sooner or later.

Knowing that there will be multiple runs to keep up with demand is 100% why I skipped this one for now. There will be more.

Dang, I saw one pop up on eBay, checked the site, and gone. I don’t check their site often, and didn’t sign up for notifications. I usually am on top of it, but it seems I slept on this :(

On Facebook they said they're not rerunning the exact Para 3, but later on down the line may change the steel to differentiate it.

I would love to see the Shaman, Yojimbo, Autonomy 2 and a Fixed Blade in this combo!

That is impressive it took that long for them to sell out. I like that out of the blue style drop they must have done. They say they will be doing more runs, I wonder how long until the next one?

Also curious how many they did in this drop and how many will be in future drops? Seems a lot of people are interested in this coating. After hearing some reviews, since we know some of these will be used compared to the Para 3...I'll be interested in what other models this configuration could be released in the future!

Yeah, they could change it to CPM-20CV and it would be pretty much the same, but not exactly. Kind of like the Z-carta Shaman is different than the Cru-carta Shaman for the sake of the Sprint rules, but is essentially the same. If they do another Para 3 I'd actually like to see Cru-wear myself though.

I'd personally like to see the Military next in this combo. And if this PVD finish can be done in Japan as TiCN or whatever, the Endura/Delica/Dragonfly in this combo would be pretty incredible.

I feel like the universes wanted me to get one. I came out of long morning meetings just happened to check Instagram right as they announced it was live and got one. I like the PM 2 and the color and am interested in the steel and the how the coating holds up. I should stop buying PM2s and broaden my knife horizons but I find this one appealing.

After foolishly parting with a 204P PM2 last year, I had to get this one. Just happened to pick up my phone to check the time, and wouldn't you know, there was an email from REC, stating the knife was in stock. The timing was quite fortunate. Despite my dislike of coated blades, this one is too interesting to not try. I haven't used any PVD coated blades, but I have used DLC. Like others have said, it will be interesting to see what, if any differences there are. From what I understand, there shouldn't be a huge difference, but PVD is less durable than DLC. That's based on anecdotes, so take from it what you will.

After using the CS Orange and OD Para 3 for a while, I've come to appreciate OD green G10. It's so much better looking than the gray-ish ranger green BBS knives I have.

I actually really like the grayish ranger green bbs uses. But this looks great too. I wonder how close it is to the diamond arc green.

The diamond arc green is the same color as the forest green on the Knifeworks 204p exclusives, and on the Brouwer and the Wolfspyder. It's a much darker green with more blue undertones than the ranger green or foliage green on other models. Green being my favorite color, I really like them all.

Missed the drop. Kinda sucks when you're in the opposite time zone from the US and it happens at 3 A.M. in the morning here haha. And I was up actually until about 1 AM for several days trying to get in on this. Congratulations on everyone who scored one!

Each subsequent run should be available for longer, so your chances can only get better with time.

Maybe they would be willing to release a few hundred or more, at a more convenient time for people on the other side of the globe. If market demand is their goal, it would make sense to cater to all of that market.

Hey, thanks for the message Albatross. To be honest I only had 2 exclusive targets this year, the Purple Cruwear and this. I'm not one of the hardcore PM2 collectors who have to have every version; I only have 2 PMs including the Cruwear but all are exclusives. I was up for several nights since the announcement, hoping and praying that on my watch it would drop. Got the DLT one despite the extremely stressful server crashes because I prepared for the exact date and time of the drop.

Unfortunately this drop was not meant to be for now. Can't blame retailers for the timing of the drop, more of an unfortunate circumstance of being a collector on the other side of the globe. I can understand that they did it to prevent flippers from making it into another REC Para 3. It just sucks that despite giving it your best holding out for it, still it wasn't meant to.

That there will be another drop is a comfort for most of us who weren't able to score on this. I just hope and pray that they will make it so that it will be also accessible to foreign customers. :)

Once again, this is not me being salty at all, just musing on the travails of being a non-US collector. Congratulations to those who got one, and hope to be in on the succeeding drops.
