I saw the announcement page for River's Edge's new PM2 on their website yesterday but it didn't say when it will be releasing. Just wondering if any of you guys have any ideas?

Not yet, they are generally pretty tight lipped at this stage, as pretty much everyone doing an Exclusive, especially given the way the Para3 version went... I hope they order a bunch, I'm not a super big PM2 fan, but I would like one for sure, but not enough to pay $400+ in the secondary market like the Para3's were/are still going for...

Thanks JMM. That's gonna sell out in less than 10 minutes, too. Sexy looking. Great steel! Good luck guys! Be quick or be... ;)

I'm also really hoping to get one of these. I love the PVD blade, and wish we'd see more in other colors, too.

Edit: REC just auctioned off a prototype of this pm2, so it can't be much longer of a wait.

Anyone remember how much the Pm3 was compared to the s30 model? Just wondering what the price will be on this one. Exactly not what I need a 7th pm2 haha but I really like it

They really need to do a Manix in this combination.

+1. Heck yeah, I would jump at that configuration!

While we're at it, that colour scheme & configuration would make a beautiful Shaman IMO.

Honestly the whole situation with the REC Para 3 pisses me off. I love the knife, love the colors and blade (and even the coating), and hate that I can't get one. I wish they would just make another run of the **** things; the exclusivity doesn't add value at all for me. The fact they haven't seems like they're just trying to keep the secondary price high as an advertisement. Lame. Sell them for $200 if you want, but keep them in stock please.

I will probably miss the PM2 also, because I have a job like normal people. And I'm not about to pay $400 for an exclusive color.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

The REC version sold for $140. At that time, I think MSRP on the regular S30V version was $200 and in 2018 MAP was 35% off, right? So street on the regular S30V should have been $130, so only $10 cheaper, if my math and discount recollections are correct.
