River's Edge Cutlery just posted that there is definitely a 2nd run of the teal s30v dragonflys coming out. They're taking orders now to ship tomorrow!

Got the email as well. Exciting because I slept on the first run.

Another user on here mentioned this second run coming a few times, so Ive been ready and waiting for it this time!

I picked one up the first go around a gifted it to my daughter. She loves it!!! No need for another, but exciting for those still looking to get one.

This was one of only 2 knives that I had backups for...until my best friend, who is not a knife person, saw it and said "Well I'd carry THAT knife!" Just happens to be one of her favorite colors, too. So I've been waiting for the chance to replace the one that's now in her pocket.

Side note: REC had one of those anti-bot image challenges at checkout. I'm very glad to see those being used, especially before all the reveal 4 sprints start coming out!

Those should be mandatory. I throw up in my mouth when i read about chumps proudly declaring that they got 8 pcs at launch with the help of bots.

I’ve been checking the forum daily for months waiting for this and I missed it my a couple hours! Any idea if they’ll be available elsewhere?

I can’t speak as to wether or not they will be available elsewhere this time around, but last time these dropped, I did see them on other sites.

I'm sure they will be. Most dealers had them last time.

IS this an exclusive? REC is sold out but man, I'd love one.

I know for sure it wasn't a REC exclusive, several other places had it, BHQ, knivesshipfree, etc I am pretty sure it was a distributor exclusive...

Correct, it was a distributor exclusive. At least the last run was. I got one from knives ship free.

I'm contemplating picking up another one since my wife isn't giving the first one back. Her favorite color + knife that fits easily in tiny pockets = I should've known I wasn't keeping it. :D maybe they'll do a P4lw in this combo, that might be safe.

I got mine from BHQ. Lots of dealers should get them.

I just got an email from REC .... they are back in stock at this very moment -- get 'em while there hot!

I would've been shocked if they lasted an hour...

For all the "I would, but it's S30V" folks out there...what is it about this one that makes it sell out so fast whenever it's released? It's a Dragonfly with different colored scales, but the "dreaded" S30V steel. Blows my mind on this one.

I think most people consider s30v an upgrade over vg-10. Personally, I like s30v just fine, just not the black scales that it usually comes with. But with this one, it's really the color I love. I'd buy it in vg-10, too.

It's definitely the color on this one.

Seems weird seeing everyone excited about something in S30V these days that's all! Like all the people that passed on a favorite of ours because S30V (Smock)

I too think it's a nice color, but the V-toku Sprint is too similar. I even asked my wife if she would want it. But she says she's content with her Ladybug and SAK. Swing and a miss! :p
