I actually tried that shortly after I tried the bar keepers friend, it removed a little more discolouration but I did notice the scratches it was leaving (see ^ pic) -- so I stopped there, if I were to continue with that, how would I go about polishing those out? Dremel? I don't have one but am willing to buy whatever is needed to get the best result (within reason)

[Edit:] I am particularly fond of this knife, it was the first $200+ dollar knife I'd ever purchased, I just love the way it feels in the hand, I have pretty big paws
