I feel ya man. I'm jonesing for a GB2 and was literally a week too late. To my knowledge no official release that it's been discoed but it's been ghost everywhere.
For some reason, I had a feeling the GB2 was "shadow discontinued" and never officially announced. But then it appeared in the 2020 Catalog, indicating that it should still be in production.

I'm hoping that it actually is still in production. :spyder:

Sal did just comment that Taichung is super busy, I'm sure they'll restock eventually.

I try very hard to stay forward facing on my purchases since I know there will always be something new that will capture my interest.
Absolutely this.

Well part of why I can't do that is because Spyderco have moved away from making models in both PE and SE. Some of the ones I'm interested in aren't available in SE anymore and probably won't be.

Fair point.

Also secondary market prices may be as much as new knife and regrind?

I find some old models quite appealing but also try to stay forward looking.

Has there been any word if the GB2 is officially discontinued or if it is just that production is delayed? I still haven't read anything about it either way on the board except Sal's comments about Mr. Bradley working on a GB3.
Do right always. It will give you satisfaction in life.

I have assume it is just delayed and there will be more eventually because it appeared in the 2020 Catalog, meaning it should still be in production.

I have an eye out for them too!
