A return of the g10 version would be cool
And/or the wharncliffe variant.

G10, Micarta or Carbon Fiber would all be winners in my book. Pair them with K390 since they are made in Europe and make it a production model. I just don’t see any downside to this.

The only thing the Urban needs is for Maniago to work on the action. It is a bit difficult to open and not as smooth as it could be. I know they can do better because my Pingo is as good as any traditional.

This is not to disrespect the Urban LW as this is my favorite pocket knife.

I'm ok with the walk and talk of the urban.
The spring tension is what I'd want from a non locking knife.
The only thing I'd ask that factory to fix is their edges, particularly the thumb holes.
My AEB-L urban had some sharp thumb holes that i think wasn't helped at all by the satin finish of the blade. You could run a fingernail over the side of the blade and hear it. So i wish they took care of the thumb hole cause that made opening the knife very uncomfortable

The pivot screw on my Coyote cannot be loosened. It just turns like others have noted.

I have a Cat in 440C that I have carried off and on the last few years. With the exception of such a glaring difference in steel on the K390 Urban, I just really prefer the Cat for myself.

When did they stop making the foliage green G10?
I discovered I have one. Nice heft, nice traction, solid movement, fits hand well.

IDK for sure, but the G10 models are hard to find, about as rare as the K390 models on the secondary market these days. The last couple G10/foliage green models I've seen on eB@y are going for ~$250-$300.

Move the Urban production to Taichung, give it CTS-XHP blade and those G10/carbon scales and thin grind and wire clip. Next.

And with a pivot having opposed screw-heads, I’ll pay the extra $50. The design is that special to me.

For a dedicated pocket knife the Urban simply cannot be beaten. Yes, I really like the UKPK and its action is better. However, the design and size of the Urban is spot on. We need more Urban choices.

I know a lot of people think it is too small. They want a humongous knife to EDC. Not me. I like pocket knives and I want perfection. Except for the overly stiff action, this knife is perfection.

Now we're talkin’ Thomas ;) I was quite upset... I thought you are fooling around with the UKPK :p Joke aside, you are right, the Urban IS perfection as a city pocket knife. What about a CRUCARTA treatement ?! That would be a helluva spydie :spyder:
