After-Market Micarta Scales for Para 3?

I picked up a plain-jane Para 3 for $100 in one of the BBS bundles when purchasing a gift for a friend and I'd like to spice it up. I've been scouring the internet and it looks like no one has after-market Micarta scales in stock. Seems most people who show up for when I google "green canvas micarta para 3" make them, but don't keep them in stock.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a US-based source?

Just an European store... Shipping to the US 15 Euros (around 17 USD), but I have no idea about taxes and tariffs. I have their Micarta scales on an Endura, done very well!!

RC Bladeworks currently has a range of Para 3 Micarta scales available on eBay and Knives Plus. None of them are green.

I recently put a set of RCBW scales in my Para 3 and they are outstanding. If you don’t see what you want readily available from the indicated sources, reach out - RC was very friendly and helpful to deal with.

I have some for my pm2 from suingab at g10.lt. They have incredible ergos. I know he makes them for the para 3 as well. They're made to order so it'll take some time, but they're worth it.

I was also going to mention RC Bladeworks. I ordered a custom set of terotuf scales from them bc they didn’t have any in stock. They did an outstanding job AND the scales shipped just a week after I ordered them.

Made the purchase over Instagram DM, they’re rc_bladeworks.

+1. I just got a set of blue denim micarta manix scales from RCBW. They've got a nice variety of micarta scales, and post new ones regularly on ebay.

Edit to add: the Allen Putman (Blade Scales) textured micarta scales are awesome, although it's hard to find them in stock. You can find them on DLT or BladeHQ's websites and get set up to be notified when they have them. They're worth the wait, imo.

I've bought a lot of scales from RC Bladeworks. PM him on Instagram and he will likely make you a set in whatever color you want.

Those denim Micarta scales look great. Would like those on one of my Stretch 1´s... (EDIT: Not the Para 3 scales on the Stretch 1 of course... :p :D )

Thanks everyone! Allen got back to me actually and I think I've got this sorted. I was just being impatient. :-)

Fireside also has some nice scales. I've been thinking about adding some Teroruf or Micarta scales to one of my Para 3's and a Native 5. Just can't seem to decide on a color haha

They're on IG too...

EDIT: Oh heck! I finally decided to order a pair of Desert Tan Terotuf scales for my Rex 45 Para 3. Hope I like 'em! :)

Good thread. I have been thinking about getting a set or two of micarta scales for the Para 3. This may be my 2020 knife thing. I also saw some aluminum Para 3 scales on ebay. That would be interesting.

Just ordered some Green Canvas Micarta scales from bladescales.com, will post pictures when I get them installed.

Not sure if this is widely known already, but the site seems to be run by Allen Putman who makes the "Putman scales" sold on most major knife dealer sites.

+1 on the rc-bladeworks tip -- I do not have any of their Para3 scales, although the ones I've seen of theirs look fantastic, but the Shaman scales I just got from them are the best micarta scales I've ever seen or owned....
