Theknifejoker said on his preorder Instagram post that preorders will be open until it sells out so unless he put some aside for February 1 it looks like there sold out for good.

Think it's just an issue of phrasing, believe he meant until the allotted pre-orders ran out. I contacted him via his site and he confirmed there would be some available in an actual drop on the website at a time TBA, who knows how many will be left after the pre-orders though.

This is the weirdest release I've ever seen. Two random pre-orders, a specific drop date/time, 2 per household, for only a little over 400 knives??!? :eek:

Makes one wonder if he will have multiple runs made? Right now, exclusive runs of the Shaman is rather like printing money!

I guess that’s a new business model. Say your gonna release something in the future then pre-sell it out before hand. Brilliant.

Another unannounced pre-sell and this one in the middle of Sunday night/Monday morning? Following his other overnight pre-sell with an extremely limited run and a two knife limit? Holy cow, this guy is a flipper's dream. His exclusive drove my interest to his site but the way that he has handled his pre-orders just turns me sour and turns me off.

I wonder who you need to know to get notified that these midnight drops are happening? :rolleyes: Something smells fishy.

Something tells me this is going to turn into the REC Para/3...flippers are going to really cash in on this one, I have a strong feeling. This is just all around weird.

I emailed him twice asking about this knife, explaining who I was from the forums and my obsession with Cruwear, and asking if I could get an invoice for a pre-order as I saw on his IG page he told someone else to email him for an invoice. ZERO response. Then he randomly put them back up for pre-order last night?!? Fishy indeed. Gotta be in the in crowd I guess.

Is a dealer exclusive or a sprint worth the emotional investment and turmoil some folks experience? It's beyond "first world problems" imho.

The Crucarta Shaman thread was a trip for this! People saying they had 10 websites up at once, refreshing every page every couple minutes. Some said they were losing sleep! If you're ever bored, pull up that thread for the craziness and hilarity :eek:

It seems with every dealer exclusive this game becomes less enjoyable to play.

It looks like a select few are receiving theirs early. I’ve seen a couple others pop up on fb. Officially, they aren’t shipping preorders until 2/1.

Glad I got out of the game when I did...

Yup, I have already seen a few on Instagram and they didn't have CC#'s. I am more put off by the way this has been handled than any other sprint/exclusive to date.
