No sour grapes at all. I got my pre-order in. That JOKE of a business deserves to get dragged through the mud, and then some. This was a bad experience and waste of time for anybody that wanted one. Nobody had a fair chance to get one, it was all luck. Call it sour grapes if you wish. Fact is he took a "pre order" via emails and IG messages before it was "live" as listed on the website for the entire world, regardless of the world's time (not specifically mentioning your purchase). Seems hes showing a very unfair bias to certain groups or social media followings. It's his stock and he can do what he wants sure, but in the end, hes just a middle man for Spyderco. He should keep that in mind. At least try and make it SEEM fair. It's becoming more and more clear this drop has been pretty "bush league". I realize how frustrating that probably sounds for most, and believe me, I have been hosed on EVERY other good sprint/exclusive (KnifeJoy, BHQ, etc) in the last year+ but when someone posted up a link here that said limited pre-orders available now (or whatever the jargon was) I clicked on it, (it was late if I remember, like 2am PST) it gave me a $4.96 coupon for new customer or something, I think it was on the 15th or 16th of Jan.... then they sent me a pay-pal invoice/bill, I paid it, and now I have one on the way. I think the universe is being kind to me this year or something, because I completely skated into getting the TreeRex from KnifeCenter as well.... Knock on (rose)wood I guess, I do still have to track down a 4V Shaman, the more of that steel I get the more I need....
