I know nothing about Rosewood. I wonder if the scales will be consistent like those photos, or hit or miss like the Pakkawood models.

Wow, KC! Beautiful. I reeealy hope they do a manix 2 like this, too. Fingers and toes crossed.
Edit: And this one comes in at only $8 more than the s30v version. I expected it to be in the $250 range...nicely done!

If it's actually Rosewood (no reason to believe it's not) then I would think there would be some variation. I have to admit the scales in the picture don't do a whole lot for me. They look pretty plain but that may be because of how they're finished.
This FF Gent is Rosewood and I really like how they look. The pic doesn't do them justice. They look better in person. Straight grain on both sides but really nice color. I'm pretty happy with it considering the price

Hmm... love Rex45, love KC Pakkawood, bought and sold the Shaman 3 times... Hopefully this is a sign of more REX45/Rosewood exclusives to come from Golden :) I'll take a PM2, Military, Manix, Chief (is that possible?), and Waterway :D

I have a confession to make. First let me qualify by saying that I really love the Shaman platform, more importantly, Rex45 is my #1 fave steel...
I actually heard myself squeal when my eyes gazed upon the new glorious Shaman..... yes, like a wee giddy school girl, there I said it.

Man I wish they would do some other Golden models. I'd love a Native or a Para 3 in Rosewood.

Preordered. I’m not a fan of wood scales, but the rex45 sold it for me. I’ll try it with the scales first, and if I don’t like them, I’ll look for some aftermarket titanium or micarta.
