Were these sold through preorder only and are sold out already? No actual drop when they have knives in hand?
I bet there will be at least a few available after the 24th from people that pre-ordered then canceled. Also, they've have multiple batches of the pakkawood models. Don't see why this would be any different given its popularity.

As of about 10 minutes ago I thought I had missed this one all together. I never got any receipt notification after making the online payment during the pre-order. So I already kissed it good bye.

Here's a video of the rosewood Dymondwood Shaman. First I've seen and it shows some really good footage of the Dymondwood grain. Looks beautiful! Knife footage at 2:45 .

I had placed some orders from KC in the past few weeks. I realized I wasn't getting any order confirmations sent to my email. I was getting their advertisements though. So I had to call them about one order and I told the guy I hadn't received an order confirmation. He said for some reason they were having issues with their system not sending internally generated emails to certain email servers (or something along those lines). He had to manually send me an email from his own account. I since ordered a couple of the new models from the reveal and not received confirmations for those either.

I cancelled my order as well. I should have known that it wasn't possible to make production knives using authentic rosewood. I believed the hype because I wanted to. I am just glad that they were finally out front with the scale material and gave people the opportunity to back out.

Oh it's possible....

But the knives would have cost a lot more, a lot more.... ;)

What's wrong with the scales they're using?

Nothing "wrong" with the scales at all. Just not solid rosewood.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Oh well that explains that. Thanks Sharp Guy.
I think I'll hold off so someone will get a second chance. I think it's too soon since my latest purchase (Smock) but I still have a few days to decide.
So far I think KC is one of the best and I really appreciate them going the extra mile.
Note: KC's site says, "additional quantities soon".

You don't have to cancel the order...

... We apologize for the confusion. Rest assured, you have not been charged for your pre-order. We are leaving it up to you to proceed with this order and need a positive response from you. Please respond to this email or call us during East Coast business hours at 1.800.338.6799 and let us know if you would like to proceed with this order or cancel it. We would appreciate a response by January 24, 2020 so we can sell the product to others waiting for it.

I don't think you can unless he calls Knifecenter and changes all his information to yours for that specific order number. Including shipping and payment info etc. I think your only option is to wait until Knifecenter has fulfilled all pre-orders and they start selling their extra stock from cancellations and payment errors. In the email Knifecenter sent out they needed to know about going forward or canceling the preorder by the 24th. So I'm assuming around the 24th or after more will be available for purchase but I don't think another preorder will happen.

Sounds like there will be drop on the 24th of all unconfirmed preorders.
