When a blade bites you
What do you learn from that cut
To fear or respect

Big steak on the plate
Plastic knives on the table
Kapara in hand
How much can a Koala bear?

Sorry...even though there were no mention of knives...the last one was to do with kindness and integrity, which we all know are the values that drive Spyderco...

Quick Q Question
Why is the Q called the Q
Quite a Quandary

The older I get
More addled the mind becomes
Umm something something

On a Haikus roll
Beginning to take its toll.
Love my Dragonfly

Oh, the Caly3,
It bumps all the other knives.
It just rides so low!

My Spyderco cuts it thin
I eat with relish

Hey Col, You’re quite a poet mate.

What’s shaking down your way? We got a bit of rain here this last week and the last couple of days there’s actually a little shade of blue in the sky. :)

In the flat country near the Murray and a good bit of rain coming through. We have been lucky so far with the fires. CFA have been quickly on to any that have started.

Rain has helped them up in the hills. Not all out yet.
As one CFA mate said “nature started them, it will take nature to put them out”.

Done a little bit of fire fighting in the hills; not fun.

Those men and women up there fighting fires are heroes by any standards.
God bless them and keep them safe.

Glad all’s well, mate!

Never fought fires myself but I’ve been close enough to a major fire front in WA many years ago to know how it sounds and feels. To say it’s scary is a gross understatement.

As you say, God Bless the people who drop everything and jump into the breach. They’re way, way braver than I’ll ever be.

Take care. :)
