I love to see Spyderco continue to do what brung them.

Did the modified drop-point UKPK just make an unannounced reappearance?

I’m a tad disappointed the Lil’ Native slipjoint is not included, but we do have Reveals yet to come.

Also, is the GalleyV something new?
The Galley “V” is an old product from former years and long time out of production. As I saw it in the PDF I really was happy to see it again and I was gutted about the fact it wasn't in the price list.

Considering that the galley V is functionally the exact same sharpener as the gauntlet at a different angle, I can't imagine now why they WOULDN'T release it.

On a side note: With all the adjustable sharpeners out there now, why would you limit your products to a single angle option? If you increased the footprint of the Galley V for example, It seems it would be a minuscule difference to add another set of holes at a different angle to double the capability of the product.

It's disappointing that the release of the product catalog has become so anti-climactic. I don't fault Spyderco for switching to their reveal catalog system for new releases, but I wish the first reveal of the year would coincide with the catalog release so the occasion had a little more wow factor.

I think the Product Catalog is for the information - for me, as a newbee who are not even decided yet what Spyderco knife I want to carry, it's a great thing. For a fan, it's just an usefull information guide about blade shapes, measurements etc. It's great, that we got a NEW stuff in a separate catalog, simply because there is just a new products in one place, so any fan will know - here's the new things to collect for 'em.

Thanks for the reply Peter. I had never heard of the GalleyV. Must’ve missed it in reveal2. But it sure looks like a must buy to me. Especially at only $56 map.

Yeah, I agree. With the Reveal V4 rumored to be right around the corner as well, I think it could've been easy enough to either wait to release the main catalog or push the Reveal V4 release up a couple weeks.

Either way, a few weeks downtime between the two isnt the end of the world and I know I'll find something to be excited about in the next reveal! :spyder:

Excited about the catalogue release! I submitted for a hardcopy as well.

Unfortunately due to vision issues I can’t read it unless they can get me an all text format

Could someone tell me if there are any new releases of the shaman, or other large folder? did they release any information on possible upcoming sprint runs?

Feels like Christmas again.
I can't promise a timeframe, but I'm working on a way to get you an all text file. It'll take a little bit of time to ensure it reads clearly. ;)

Thanks much for the feedback.

Kristi

Thanks

SHOT Show 2020 is on January 21–24 which starts 11 days from now. Will we see the 2020 Reveal Volume One by around that time?

Last year we received the 2019 Reveal Volume One on January 11, 2019.
