Southfork in CPM-154

So, not actually my idea, Jim Ankerson came with it first, but I want to continue with it.

There seems to be a lot support for Phil Wilson´s knives, and Southfork was a incredible knife, but with very high price tag.
So why not to make another run of it, but with cheaper (but still good!!) CPM-154. It´s cheaper then original S-90V and it is easier to grind, which schould make the price lower.
As for handle....maybe a blue G10? Or orange? Something else then original green.

Im in. Heck, I would even take vg10. Make it anywhere but china. The southfork is an amazing design, I would love a more affordable but not cheap version.

The cost could defintely be less for MSRP but still come in at the same retail price because of the increased MAP...

In the other thread most people said they wanted something in the middle price range. The southfork was very expensive. (The sprig was also very expensive.) And the bow river is very cheap. The southfork and sprig were in the over 200 dollar price range (I actually think the southfork was $280), and the bow river is $30.

So something in the $100 to $200 would be perfect for me. In fact a phil wilson design in good steel for $150 street price is what I would want. Or vg10 for around $100.

The majority of the cost is in the labor. A Southfork in 154 wouldn't be much less expensive than in S90.

Hi Sal. This made me curious: what makes the Bow River so cheap to make if it's not the materials? Could a similar process be applied to a knife that would still functionally and visually be a Southfork?

China and their devalued currency. It makes labor cheap.
