Wow, didn't see that one coming! Seems like a great score for those that into the Police 4.Bdubs808 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 11:20 amAnyone else hear about a Police 4 HAP40 Pakkawood KC Exclusive?

Wait, lets ask some important questions here. Can dealers order exclusives of discontinued models? Was the exclusive commissioned before the regular police 4 was discoed? Or is it built off the lightweight platform?Bdubs808 wrote: Anyone else hear about a Police 4 HAP40 Pakkawood KC Exclusive?

Agreed. I definitely did not see that one coming, and I love the pakkawood handles. I'll probably pick one up soon, but not yet because while I also like Hap40 I already have a k390 Police 4...and Hap40 is not better than k390.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 11:48 amWow, didn't see that one coming! I've never really thought of the P4 as a 'little knife.'RamZar wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 2:25 pmThe KnifeCenter Exclusive Police4 HAP40/SUS410 Pakkawood C07WDP4:
"The Pakkawood material that makes up the scales combines the durability and stability of a phenolic laminate with the rich beauty of natural wood. Unlike natural wood, you won't have to worry so much about Pakkawood shrinking, expanding, or cracking. It is also much better suited to moisture than standard woods. Full stainless steel liners, backspacer, and lock back complete this durable little knife."
Lol knifecenter totally copied and pasted that part from their Ladybug exclusiveTomAiello wrote: ↑Thu Jul 30, 2020 10:41 amI've never really thought of the P4 as a 'little knife.'RamZar wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 2:25 pmThe KnifeCenter Exclusive Police4 HAP40/SUS410 Pakkawood C07WDP4:

Yes they can with some limitations I'm sure. The semi-recent BHQ Lum Tanto Jade Hap40 comes to mind.VooDooChild wrote: ↑Wed Jul 29, 2020 1:04 pmWait, lets ask some important questions here. Can dealers order exclusives of discontinued models?

Perhaps for some but the first three are made in the USA with US materials.

Possibly, steelcity16?
But we do know, that it does not have anything to do with the Manix 2 LW being omitted from the paperwork, all year. :D
My hope is. The delay on the Manix 2 LW, is due to it being switched over to screwed construction! :)
If that's the case. I'm happier, to wait it out. :spyder:
