Para 3 sharp edges on handle?

#1

Is it normal for the edges of the FRN liner (the inner edges) to be sort of sharp? Nice overall, but that aspect of it is bit cheap feeling, IMO.

Edges are a little crisp on both of mine but nothing that bothers me

I don't think twice about knocking those edges down.

I almost always do this. A medium fine fingernail file works great and only takes a minute.

I took sandpaper to my scales and contoured the edges- completely changes the knife for the better

I have found that any given USA made para with g10 or frn scales are very sharp all the way around on the insides. It shows most not when you gently feel for it, but with a firm grip.
You do not need to take them apart to sand them. The color will be the same no matter how much you sand.
The taichung knives like the Gayle Bradley, the titanium chaparral, the Advocate, etc are VASTLY better finished and fitted and an even blade grind.
Any of the ISA blades like the M390 and M4 And Maxamet I have bought I have thrown the g10 and Frn in the trash (they looked and felt like they came from the dollar store) and fitted them with titanium scales.

I smoothed all edges off with the nail file of my Swiss Army Knife. They also smoothed out over time from banging around in my pockets. It's your knife, adjust it to your liking!
