Your Spyderco Christmas Eve And Christmas Day EDC

#1

Post by Water Bug »

Merry Christmas, Y'all!!! :)

So, what :spyder: are you EDCing on Christmas Eve And Christmas Day?

My Spyderco Fluted Titanium Military is in rotation, so I'll be EDCing it along with my Spyderco Delica 4s in PE and SE. Should we go out, I'll clip on my Spyderco Caly 3s in PE and SE for a more discreet carry as well as VEDC my Spyderco Assist in Orange FRN.

How about you? :)

Merry Christmas!

I am pretty sure it will be the Endela SE on both days... or maybe my HAP 40 Stretch 1
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I’m going to carry and use my new UKPK BD1N. I’ll give it a workout.

it will likely be my native salt. i’ve found it to be the perfect “at-home” knife because it’s very well rounded. it’s not too small for most edc tasks and, since it’s a salt, i never have to worry about cutting anything with it and sticking it straight back into my pocket without a wipe-down, which i often do for safety around the kids. it makes quick work of just about every task from cutting food to opening packages. it’s pretty much perfect.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

I'm thinking fancy for Christmas, so it'll be a dressy or custom Spydie...
Don't know which one(s) yet, but I can post a pic when I do :)

A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

I'm working on Christmas Eve, so I'll probably have either a serrated Salt 2 or a combo edge Native 5 Lightweight on me. Christmas day, I plan on going on a long trail run, so probably a Dragonfly 2 Salt Hawkbill

I have to work also, so it will be Ladybug Hawkbill Salt for me on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will probably be Dragonfly.

I think I’ll go with the Kapara. Classy with a touch of red.

I've been thinking about that this morning ( Christmas Eve Morning). Being the old school Spyderco fan as I am I've decided I'm going to have an "OLD SCHOOL CHRISTMAS".

I think I'm going to carry my C-44 Dyad and my C-46 Lum Tanto folder. Special occasions deserve Special Knives  Very timely I just fine honed both of them yesterday.

And MERRY CHRISTMAS to you Brother "WATERBUG" and to all the rest of my Spyder-Brothers and Spyder-Sisters I wish all of you a well deserved great holiday :)

I’ll go with the 40th Anniversary Native in Christmas Eve and the fluted Ti for the Christmas Day.
