Spyderco- Asheville, NC

#1

Post by MacLaren »

Any dealers in Asheville, NC?
Mast Store has only 1 Spydie in inventory.
I checked the dealer locator, but it shows nothing in Asheville.
But, that's not always 100% correct, which is why I did this thread.
Any help I would appreciate.
I usually just buy online, but I forgot to in time this year. The present needs to be delivered today actually lol....
It's on me, I know.
Thanx again.

And, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

Aren't there any sporting good stores, gun shops etc in Asheville?

Carolina Guns & Gear maybe?

They do sell Spyderco knives.

Maybe a Cabelas or Bass Pro Shops? Even a REI? They won't have a huge selection, but might come through in a pinch. Or a gun shop, as was mentioned above.

Jim, that's a good idea.
I've been moved from Asheville for almost 5 years now, and I forget. Thanx man.

Good idea. I think Asheville may have one or the other.

Cabelas has high prices but they price match walmarts online prices since they have a physical presence. Should work for smaller shops like New Graham too.

Haven't ever seen a Spydie at REI.

I'd call the gun shops within the distance you're willing to drive, that'd be your best bet IMO.

I don't go to Asheville very much, it is a VERY LONG DRIVE for me from Raleigh.

Would be one of those overnight stays...

That's interesting; no Spydies online at REI, either. I bought my first two Spyderco knives at REI, long ago.

Ya know what fellas, I forgot about Wal Mart.
It was right on the way, and mission accomplished.
Thanx again everyone.

I haven't seen one there recently, but the nearest REI to me is several hours away, and I'm rarely in one of their stores.

But my first two Spyderco knives were purchased at REI (in the early 90's, so I'm not exactly up to date).

Wow, the other Mast stores in the Boone area had a ton a month ago. Have you been to the original? The knife room there is amazing!
