Your TWO To Return In 2020

Well the Year Of Our Lord 2019 is just about in the history books. It's been a great year for Spyderco and many other companies in the ever growing, high end cutlery industry. However I always like to reflect on the past to help guide me to the future. I still say that many of the older Spyderco models I believe were near perfect to begin with. The only improvement that many of the past Classic Spyders need is a new facelift and new and more advanced materials.

Like my title indicates I want to know which TWO Classic Spyderco models you would like to see return here in 2020 with a complete different look and newer/better hardware. The TWO Spyders I want to see come back with a Facelift and be made with newer/better materials are TWO of my long time favorites.

My TWO selections for 2020 are the C-60 AYOOB model with a Carbon Fiber or G-10 handle and a new Supersteel blade. The second of my TWO selections for 2020 is to have a newly revamped CATCHERMAN model in Full SE with either a LC200N blade or maybe a new Nitrogen based steel we haven't got to try yet. And for the CATCHERMAN to have a nuclear colored handle as well.

OK what are your TWO for 2020?

Jester Salt in PE and SE with GITD scales

FRN Cricket in PE and SE H1 Salt with Bidirectional GITD FRN scales on BOTH sides and a wire clip

C95 Manix in it's original dino jimped form in 3V and OD Green Micarta

For me it would be an updated Persian of either size with some nice Micarta scales, bolsters, and an upgraded steel. Next, I guess would be a Barong simply because I have never seen one in person but I am pretty sure that they aren't worth $300+ to check one out.......Tuff too with three choices.

That´s a tough quest for someone who was not into Spydercos already in the "older days", but just for some years now..

Don´t know if I can come up with TWO, and don´t know if my choice is a "classic model" in the truest sense of the word, but I´d be very interested in and upgraded (better steel), new release of the VAGABOND!!

Never had one, butI think this is an very interesting design, and a great choice when wanting to bring a small fixed blade, but not on your belt, but rather in your pack or the like.

The second would be the Stretch 1. I still think it would have its place together with the Stretch 2 (so NOT replacing the "2" again)

Pretty much what my answer would be as well. Maybe I'd throw the Kris into the mix too (polished red G-10 to match the large Persian sprint from a few years back, perhaps?).

1. Janisong release for the US market, fix the pocket clip gap for use with blue jeans
2. Dodo with CQI for larger fingers on the ball lock

And while I'm here.......an Ayoob, PE or SE, any steel!
And a updated Wegner or Wegner Jr. in PE Cru-wear since we now know Japan can use it. Of course we know this one will never happen!

Original stainless steel Stretch in VG-10 with checkered Dymondwood or similar inserts in place of the Kraton.
