Tenacious is one that I would love to see with a VG10 steel balde...just because.
The ergos and the edge which runs way back the ricasso, makes it perform above it's weight.

I will make a replacement blade for my Tennie when I actually get time to experiment.
Steel type? Watch this space? :)

Have you tried the Polestar? It's basically a Tenacious blade in CTS-BD1 mated to a choil-less version of the Byrd Raven handle... I like the ergos very much... in fact I prefer its handling over that of the Tenacious.

Spydies are expensive in NZ, and the range in the few shops that stock them, a tad limited.
I have compared images from catalogues and on the 'Net, and yes, the Polestar looks like a close family member. :)

Maybe one day?
