I like bigger knives so I'm out on this one. Make an Endela or Endura, or even a Stretch and I'll be all over it!

Looks like these will ship on Wednesday Dec 11 for those of us that pre-ordered.

Would enjoy seeing some pics when they arrive.

This one seems to parallel the new sage lw - stainless steel liners with a thin clad of frn to complete the scales.

This is why pre-orders are so dumb. Why couldn't they just have waited until their shipment arrived and updated their inventory to what they actually get when they actually get it??? :rolleyes:

I called. The nice lady said that Fed Ex didn't come by yesterday to pick up the packages, and that they'd go out today.

I chose the 6 dollar shipping option, didn't know that would be fed ex. I guess we will see!

Got mine at 4:41. Being sent by USPS, so I’m wondering how the Fed Ex man caused the delay? Oh well.

I like it. (Huge S90v fan) And am glad it was finally made. Has been in work since 2017................
Its a long process...S90V from Japan, & the liners may not seem like much to some.
But is new and IMO a nice touch. (New steels from Japan, thats the big news).....
At the price point, pick scales, or steel. Add both and really upset budget minded apple cart. :D

So to my knowledge Knifeworks always takes actual (really nice) photos of knives for their website and posts stock photos as well. So we can assume their pictures of this knife are real and accurate. The pictures seem to show a regular stainless backlock and liners... Not seeing the blue steel backlock or liners. Either the description is wrong or they are using photoshop. Either one is Not something I like to see from one of my favorite dealers. Can't wait to see forumites' photos. Will edit this post if I'm in the wrong.

I was going to say the same thing. It still looks like a great knife.

I don't have mine yet, but I"m looking forward to it. I ordered one, because, well, I can. So I did.

Exactly... great price for S90v. Right....

I am pretty sure the black frn is lined with blue frn and a blue back spacer. The liners, which are nested and generally unseen are plain steel. Some with the knife correct me if I’m wrong and post a picture, please.

The main issue i have is the description mentions blue stainless steel liners:

"This Exclusive Delica 4 is features with two thin blue liners sandwhich in between the black FRN handle, the skeletonized blue stainless steel liners for superior structural strength."

But in other parts of the description it just says stainless liners... Either way I guess it doesn't matter too much since I am not going to buy one anyways. Not bc of this I just don't need another delica.

Mine came in. Can confirm that they look exactly like the pics on the site.

Just got mine, had a bit more oil in it than I've ever seen in a delica/endela/endura before...

Feels great though, 2nd sharpest I've ever received, only beaten by the brown M390 Manix2 I got a couple days ago.

I'm definitely excited to know this can be done...opens up all sorts of nice color combo possibilities in all the frn models.
