I see KnifeWorks has an exclusive Delica coming out. This is the first Japanese Spyderco in S90V, right? I also wonder how they fit the blue liners in there, as I assume a mold change would have been too expensive. The liners look super thin, so perhaps it's just the tiniest bit thicker than normal with regular thickness FRN in black plus a super thin layer of blue (FRN? G-10? something else?) for the liner? The description on the page says "blue stainless steel liners and backlock," but I assume that's a typo, as the picture (if accurate) doesn't have those blue.

Bet this would sell A LOT faster if they used that forest green color they've used with other Spyderco exclusives.

Kinda looks like blue FRN with a layer of black on the outside.

This would sure make a lot of sense for a Police LW sprint!

If it was a Jazz Delica maybe but this is a pass for me.

Are we opening the flood gates on US steel in Japan models? The possibilities are exciting. It looks good but I’m probably out on this one.

If I had to guess, I would've guessed the pictures are photoshopped, but that means either the description is wrong or the photos were edited wrong. The description mentions Blue stainless steel liners and back lock, but as Kyle noted, they're both plain steel in the photos. So if the blue we're seeing is correct, the blue layer would have to be super thin or it could be a blue core with black molded over it.

I'm most likely not going to buy one, but either way I think this is a really cool variant! :cool:

Wish they'd do Enduras instead of Delicas, but I ordered one.

Plain black would have been great. Don't need the fluff.

It's cool, but it feels like they are pulling a BBS on their pricing. I'm out.

It's like knifeworks knows you're gonna swap the scales - kinda like when Mitsubishi offered the Evo in tuner form (steel wheels, crap seats), they knew those parts were ending up on eBay as soon as customers bought the thing

Man you said it. There have been so many steels I wanted that came in a Delica I've lost count. If they did this combo in the wharnie Delica I might have to live with the blasted ergonomics.
