Only thing I’ll jump on this year is the CQI Caribbean expected before the new year.
wait... what?!
They are updating something with the liners.
I can't imagine what needs to be CQI'd. Are they finishing them to a higher grit or what?

Not sure, that’s all Spyderco would share with me. Maybe someone who is better connected can find out a bit more...cough...Sal!

I will buy more knives if I think they will please me. This year I’ve sold on as much stuff as I’ve acquired, which helps with the indigestion!

Brouwer on order currently - the European spear point blade appeals, and it should fit my xl hands.

I almost bought a Lil Native to bling up with Ti scales, but decided to wait for the

LIL’ NATIVE SLIPJOINT

Yes, I’d really like a

I thought I was done but it looks like I need to grab a respect before the increase of 2020.

Near done with knives altogether and seriously wondering how many knives are enough? If I lived for half a dozen lifetimes, used the ones I have, I reckon I'd still have knives left over.
You know, this rings awfully close to my thinking. If I stayed off this forum, I would probably never buy another knife, and then find myself wondering why I have all that I do have.

So I neither need nor want anything more. I started 2019 hoping for some Shaman sprints and/or exclusives and I got my wish, now I am going into 2020 without any such itches or longings.

The recent K390 Paramilitary was the surprise knife to end the year for me. I had neither expected nor dreamed of such a thing, but couldn't pass it up.

2020 ought to be the year to make nice knives of these mule blades I have.

Sometimes I wish the mule blade shape was the bow river shape. I could get excited about making a bunch of Bow Rivers in various steels!

Same, done to a M4 fixed blade drops OR the Aussie $$ improves a lot.......
I’ve been a little unenthused of late. I have more knives than you could poke a stick at and the ones I actually use I can count on one hand.

I think I buy knives for the sake of buying them. I use them for a bit, most often sharpen them, sometimes just for the sake of it, forget about them and then buy another one and the cycle repeats itself.

I have flash you beauty knives of Super Steels, and God know what fancy scales and I’m getting around with a “plastic” handled, H1 Ladybug SE HB which looks like something out of the $2 bin from the local hardware store. Ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha, ah, hahaha! :)

Go figure.

This year was a great one for exclusives that tickled my fancy, and a few production models that I really fell hard for (the Smock and the SE pac salt come to mind). But I think I'm done for 2019, unless something unexpected really surprises me. I'm actually culling the herd right now, keeping my favorites and selling others. Deciding I don't need aaaall those Delicas... ;) Also admitting to myself that with the exception of the Mantras, I really don't like titanium scales.

For 2020, I'm hoping for many more cruwear exclusives, more micarta scales (and combos of the two), a Rex45 manix 2, and a Smock sprint/exclusive or three!

Oh no I'm not done for 2019. Got a Black Delica CE and a Waterway on the way. That should wrap up the year. Who knows what will be coming out in 2020. Never say never.

Looking forward to K390 Delica from Seki.

Like Paul i have a "Para-Stretch" incoming, also a SS Delica. Was looking forever for a pristine Delica 3 but gave up and ordered this Delica 4 SS.*
Next year? Pretty sure i want the Siren, other than that.. I don't know. Looking forward to bolstered knives and wood scaled Chaps, other than that we'll see. Always some vintage gold popping up unexpectedly.

This would be interesting. What I really want in SE is a mora-esque fixed blade Byrd with a 6-7" blade of full SE goodness.

Done! With the new Stretch, that makes it 7 new knives this year.

For 2019, I look forward to more Golden knives. Specifically, Shaman and Siren. Willing to try the new Military. Maybe even the Chief, if it makes it into a sprint or exclusive queue. Or something brand new?
