CRU-WEAR Shaman with Custom Sculpted Multicam Scales (Pics)

Post by rothnroll »

Greetings,
Sorry for the late-night bad lighting pictures.
I bought the Shaman CRU-WEAR Sprint Run in Brown Micarta, but haven't carried it yet because I couldn't stand the scale color.
In short, I felt like it looked like an old lady's bra.
See here for the story.

I ordered custom Sclupled Shaman Scales in Multicam from g10.lt. to replace the micarta scales.
Here are the pictures.

I like this much better than the brown micarta. I am an active-duty Army Soldier and the Multicam matches what I wear every day.
I did like the feel of the micarta, it is very grippy and high-quality.
I plan to sell the micarta scales on another website when I get around to it.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad you found something you like. I would like to have had the opportunity to purchase the Cruwear shaman.

Nice scales. However my eye caught the lanyard on the spydiechef. Wouldn't it be a PITA to constantly have to dry it? The chef is made for water.

Really like these scales! Not into camo colors, but these work nicely.

I have scalloped grips on a few of my knives and if the texture is right, they can be very grippy. I really like the look of your knife too.
