For folks that go, do you typically go into it with a list of certain models/variations your looking for...or is it just such a big mish mash that you just go after what looks good and at a price your comfortable with?

I could see this being extremely dangerous to the ole bank account haha! Go in there saying, "I'm only getting 5 knives" ...walks out with a dozen!

Some of the time I've had a specific model or two in mind, but mostly I just go to see what's there. I make a pass through picking up interesting stuff, the I go off to the sidelines and add up the prices to see how many I have to throw back.

He mentioned you yesterday (11.22.19); pretty sure he's got you covered... in the meantime for those that are on the fence about coming to one of these events here is a pic of the haul from today's sale :spyder:

I showed up around 9:30 and I think we were probably in the doors and shopping by 11:30 and purchasing by 1:00. They did trivia while we were in line and I won a bug, forum calendar and delica model.

My haul:

Yes, please keep them coming! I was close to making it this year, but I am about 8 hours drive away. Hopefully one of these years soon I’ll come out.

Heck, I'm six and a half hours away myself, and I've made half a dozen Sales. I went in looking for a couple of specifics for GiftedMisfit (found them, too) and just seeing what was there for myself, ended up walking out with more than a dozen for myself. Have a budget and pack extra willpower when you go.

Lol, I managed to score a K390 PM2 as well (really about the only thing I was actually looking for), and talked myself into the Smurf M390 PM2 too. Both BBS exclusives, and since I refuse to do business with them, nice to still pick them up for my user collection without dealing with BBS.

My oldest daughter bought a couple for herself (Pakka/HAP40 Ladybug, Efficient), I bought several as gifts, one as a proxy, and a few for myself. :spyder: Pretty surprised to see a handful of the Cruwear Mule Team.

(Please excuse the horrible pics)

The girls behind the counter said there weren't many left-hand Millies out there either, but I found a couple to choose between.

Major kudos to the SpyderCrew for this year's sale! It seemed much more orderly and friendly this year. I didn't see anyone trying to cut in line, and everyone seemed to be helping everyone else to find their treasures. Now if everyone would just learn not to go around the tables backwards...don't look at me like that. Just because I'm the only one going that way doesn't make it the wrong way. I'm getting old, and I get a crick in my neck if I don't switch directions once in a while. It was great to see you all again, and I hope to see you again next year. Just don't expect me to remember your names, I can barely keep track of my own.

7th in line however those two Shamans were returns and I happened to be at the right place at the right time; asked the fellow that was about to place them back onto the tables to hand them to me

All of these models except for the orange Native 5 and Crucarta Shaman could be purchased when I checked out at 3:30pm for those thinking that all the good knives are gone by the time the first group of 25 folks get in.

Yep, Chris sent me a screen cap of that, I had to ask what it was from. Looks like we are the faces of the camper crowd. LOL.
