Yes, it is. Limit of 25 pieces on seconds, no limit on first quality items, even on clearance. I'll be there

Brand new products not marked as seconds.

Often times there is a table with recently discontinued but brand new knives. These would be considered first quality.

Last year I had a G-10 Puukko second in my basket marked $110.00 with sheath. I thought it was a great deal until I walked by the clearance table and found a stack of them NIB for $100 each, with box and warranty. Guess which I bought.

It is probably worth noting here that factory seconds are "As is, where is" with no warranty express or implied. If you drop it on the sidewalk on your way out of the door and it shatters, it is on you.

The closer it gets the more sad I am that my new job won't let me go. I had a place booked and everything! Hope you guys will post your treasures and make me feel like I was there haha

It looks like my work schedule might not let me go now either.
Good thing I bought refundable plane tickets.

The advantage of seniority. I had this scheduled before my boss started. In fact, I have next year's sale weekend reserved already.

I live in the USA but 1,326 miles from Spyderco. I would spend a lot to save on a few knives.

I'm only 435 miles away. The first time I felt buyer's remorse was when I spent almost $1200 at the sale. That vanished when I added up the MSRPs of my purchases and came up with over $3600.

And I complain about the 20 minute drive, parking, and waiting in line ... I am such a baby!!!!! :o
