Is it time for a Black Native Salt yet?

Hoping to see a black Native Salt soon. Satin blade or blacked out DLC would both be fine. Just something as an alternative to yellow. I know we all usually talk about how boring black is, but since non-black earth tones are unlikely on a Salt model, I would take a black version.

I'd love to see a non-yellow Native 5 Lightweight Salt with a combo edge option.

I know you're asking for a production version but Knives Plus has them available rit dyed if you want one now.

It’s incredibly easy to dye yours black, if you have one. Some examples of dye jobs I have done are below. And yes, I'm aware they're not both Spyderco knives, please excuse the blasphemy. :)

Yes, that would be the perfect knife for military personnel. Many base commanders restrict blade length for on post carry in or out of uniform. The Native 5's three inch blade is kosher on most installations, and the all black handle and hardware is much more uniform compliant than the yellow handle. LC200N might be the best balance of attributes for a blade steel for a military duty knife.

i would love a blacked out version, but probably won’t buy one since i already have the current version. if they had come out at the same time, all black all the way.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Blacked out DLC would be my choice of the two. Would be pretty popular I would think.

I’d be in for a blacked out Native Salt! Was hoping to get a blacked out Native LW but wanted S35VN over S30V and can’t fine one in PE anywhere. I would take LC200N over both of these though!
