Obviously they'll never go for that. That suggestion was a waste of your time. Both sides just need to be more accepting and argue less. And all of us should certainly care less.
Not nearly as much of a waste of time as reading through the mountain of whining, crying and gnashing of teeth. Pick your poison.

As I mentioned early on .. not a big folder guy. BUT, if I was going to go there, I think it would be the Military. 2nd place would go to the Endura (does this one qualify as big folder), and third place would go to the Chief (does this qualify as a big folder), and fourth place would go to the Police.

I'm enjoying a PM2 in this and think most Military guys would enjoy their knife in this too.

CG
If you think you'd like the Military, I'd hazard that you'd enjoy the Police 4 as well.

Aside from the great steel, it's a great pattern which resulted in my wondering "why did I wait so long?". I've read several similar reactions among our denizens.

I would welcome a Military in K390. Whether I would purchase it from BBS or not would simply come down to whether I wanted it enough to pay the asking price and adhere to their conditions of sale.

The PM2 in K390 was my first (and only) purchase from BBS and I have no regrets there. I thought the shipped price was fair, (when compared to the recent PM2 release in Maxamet), and the knife I received was wholly acceptable.

As to the current controversy, any purchase should be evaluated through the lens of whether the item is being offered at a price one can live with. If any of the terms are not acceptable, then simply opt not to purchase from that vendor, whether an exclusive or not.

Acting like a triggered snowflake because something doesn't go your way or adhere to your sense of propriety is simply selfish "entitled" behavior. This is America, and as long as the law is not being violated, individuals and companies are entitled to conduct themselves as they see fit. You as a consumer have the right to take your business elsewhere. It doesn't require a bitchfest.
Good rant here (way better than the one you withdrew). Also agree with the Police4 comments. FWIW...

Not at the moment. I already have a long blade in K390 (Police 4).

Thanks. The original "rant" (in a different thread) was precipitated by one particular party who seems to have no "off switch" when it comes to incessant harping on a couple of topics. I know he's a decent fellow and that's why I withdrew my remarks.

My comments above are aimed at no one in particular.

No worries. And I hope the "ouch" wasn't you thinking I was directing any vitriol your way. (Because none was intended.)

I am hoping for a Military in K390. Not for a BBS exclusive.

Are the Spyderco K390 rights somewhat tied to BBS?

The Urban, Police and Mule weren't. I think they're the only ones doing sprints of it for now. I'd like to see some more models use the steel, particularly some fixed blades. Either Perrin model would work, or the enuff.

Yep, I hope BBS get's all the K390 exclusives. That way I'll be able to get them, guaranteed.
Also guaranteed it won't be someone else's return.
Can't say that for other dealer!

We'll all be swimming in k390 soon enough. Once the entire endura and delica lineup come in k390, who will any company compete with spyderco?

What production knife could ever compete with a k390 Endura for $120ish? That is a game changer.

It's great more k390 is getting out there. Hopefully as more users are exposed to it, there'll be more demand.
Hope I'm available at the endura/delica/dragonfly drops. I'd hate to have to settle for just the lady/man bug, or pay 3x msrp for one of the others from a scalper.

Great point! I didn't even think of it that way...as I'm currently going through the process of getting new pivot screws for my "new" KnifeWorks exclusive 204P Military that they suddenly found a couple weeks ago...that had stripped pivot screws and must be a return.

K390 Sprig for the win!

I own one of Phil's customs in K390 and I'd love to see his FB designs that have Spyderco collaborations done in K390 as sprints.

I keep reading people complaining about returns.
Spyderco could simply solve that by adding those stickers over screws that cant be reapplied when removed. Removing them voids returns and not warranty.

... As seen on many hardware products or some watches.

If I remember right I think I got my S110V Manix 2 LW for around $95 shipped. That was the deal if the century. Spyderco have set the performance per dollar bar several times.

Wait, is this true? Tell me more about the delica and endura coming out in k390. I know the P4 lightweight is supposed to, but the delica endura and endela as well? Color?

This is great news.
