Drawer organizer

#1

Post by zhyla »

Wanted to be able to store my EDC rotation in a closet drawer as something other than a pile of knives. Tossed this together from a 2x4 chopped into 5” lengths and glued together with an offset. Then sliced off part of the stack give a flat bottom.

Works fine, though I may CNC something fancier at some point when the right design smacks me in the head.

Very cool. Would keep them from sliding around when the drawer is closed.

That was a fun project, I have a thread about that somewhere. I cut the scales on my CNC mill.

Nice! Even better that you made them yourself.

I don't have a ton of knives. I think under 15 folders currently.

I was only kidding. I really think your holder is pretty darn cool! And a rotation of 6 is very reasonable.

What model's the flipper on top?

Does that complexity decrease the simplicity? Not at all.

I'm not the DIY sort, I bought a couple trays for displaying sunglasses such as you'd see under a glass counter. I didn't buy enough though.
