I wish they had (and someday do) gone with a sling bag instead of messenger style. This is cool but it won't replace my 5.11 bag.

What 5.11 bag do you have?

This looks like a really decent carrying bag.

What I would like more than this unit would be to see what Spyderco might do with a Fanny Pack. And maybe even have it made by this same company. Because I can usually tote everything I need in a day or so with a big to medium sized Fanny Pack.

i agree. i carry a tactical green sling with me to work and other places for my edc bag. has all my chargers and extra cables/drives , multitool, pen, gameboy, kindle, controller, a few pairs of headphones, first aid.
