Also, Dick's Sporting Goods has a couple of Spydercos on sale right now. They have a Kapara for $150.

Dick's is also offering 20% off thru today. I checked and Spyderco is not excluded from the promotion. I put the Kapara in my cart but it didn't calculate the discount. I contacted Dick's and they manually added the 20% making the Kapara $120.

That IS a crazy good deal!

Well I'm going to give this one a go! Did you have to call in to complete the order/pay?

I’m on an online chat right now with Dicks to get the discount applied. It’s taking a long time. Would not recommend doing this on your phone.

Update: Ok, this took forever. Which I think was a good thing. While the price is amazing ($120 + tax) and by all accounts this knife is amazing, I just don't really need it at all.

They won't honor the 20% off for me v.v

Slick. The Bugout is $89 and the M4 Freek is $146 before the call-in discount (making them $72 and $117 respectively). My second Kapara is now inbound!

Excellent price on an M4 Freek. I’ve always wanted one, but have been waiting for a deal like this. So, do you guys purchase the order, then call in to get the discount added? I can’t seem to get the 20% off to apply before I hit “submit order”

Benchmade was on the "excluded from promo" list. Spyderco wasn't. So not sure calling in will help. But even without that extra 20% there are some great prices.

Absolutely. A great price regardless! I already have a Kapara, or I would be all over that deal. I’m hoping I can combine the 10% off code I got for signing up for their email newsletter, and pick up a Freek. This is assuming their site will load for me again.

EDIT: I was just going to do it but the discount wasn't applied in my cart and it was 11:58. It said I needed to complete the transaction by 11:59 on 11/25. I suppose I could've called tomorrow and had them apply the discount but not sure how all that would work out. So I just closed the screen. With my luck it would be the non-CQI version anyway.

Honestly for $120 I almost grabbed a second one but it was $150 so I'm ok. Great deal for someone without one though! We're really getting hit hard this week with deals my wallet is inside out!
